This last weekend, Christian and all but one of his brothers (plus one of their friends) headed down to Salt Lake to see Metallica in concert. They got to Salt Lake in time to check into their hotel meet up with a couple more friends for dinner and then make the 15 minute walk to the Vivint arena for the concert. It was a record breaker 17,000+ people at the concert. Christian said it was awesome, even though they were kind of in the nose bleeds.
For whatever reason, Christian's brothers all decided they were going to grow mustaches to go to the concert with...gross! They named them their Metallica Mustaches. Christian (and Jacob who couldn't go) were the only ones that didn't succumb to the peer pressure of going with a mustache. I was quite happy that he didn't decide to shave off his goatee. Daniel came with a pair of clippers and was going to try and shave Christian a mustache...

Saturday, they got up early, had some breakfast and then headed to Provo to visit grandma Asay. She is 102 and doing great for her age. She is amazing!

After a visit with grandma Asay, they grabbed some lunch at a Brazilian restaurant and then made the trek home.
