Flag Football

Tonight was Landon's last flag football game. He had a great season. He is quite the little quarterback! He see's kids and can throw the ball really well. It will be fun to see if he continues to be a quarterback. They had games twice a week for three weeks and improved every time. I sure enjoyed watching him play!

Antelope

This year, Carson was able to get a land owner's antelope tag. He was able to go out opening day and snag a buck first thing in the morning. He even made it back to school in time for his first hour period!
We are planning to turn it all into jerkey and have the skull European mounted.

Weening Calves

Today we went into Dry Head and helped grandpa Asay ween calves. The boys all went in early and helped with the gathering. I rode in later with Mikayla. We stayed for a few hours and then headed back home. It was a beautiful fall day and they were able to truck out most of the calves.

Labor Day

This year for Labor Day, we went out on the boat. We were sad we weren't able to go to Jackson camping this year, but we had football games Friday and Saturday, so going was out of the picture. We did enjoy our time on the boat though. Grandma Asay came out with us. We all did some sort of water activity knowing that this was probably going to be our last trip out on the boat this year. It always makes me sad when I think about it being the last time! Boating is my happy place!

Another teenager!

Today we add another teenager to the house! Travis turns 13 today! We are sure proud of the young man that he is becoming. He is smart, kind, a hard worker, imaginitive, likes to build things and be outside. We love him and are so thankful he is part of our family! We went out to dinner a few days before his birthday to celebrate since we knew that the day of his actual birthday was going to be crazy. We went out to eat at EL Tap with Jason and Cassie and Grandpa and Grandma Foulger and then had cake and ice cream at Grandma's house! Jason picked out a fun hamburger cake for him!
Today, we started out with the traditional birth year pancakes. We decided to have him open all his gifts in the morning before he left for school becuase after school there were 3 different football practices and a stake youth activity that we all had to be at. He got a new shirt and Bulldog hat and a kit that turns a bike into a motorbike. He's pretty excited to work on that...we just need to get him a bike that will fit all the parts!I had the day off from subbing and took him out for lunch. He wanted a burger from the Bar, so I picked that up and grabbed him for lunch in the park.
Landon and I decorated his locker at school the day before and left him some treats in there too!
