Christmas Eve this year consisted of our usual family traditions. We went to Powell in the morning and hung out at Grandma's house before heading to the store to have lunch with grandpa Foulger. We enjoyed soup, sandwiches and dessert. After lunch we hung out for a bit longer before we had to head home and get ready to go out to grandma Asay's house.

For dinner we did the traditional gnocchi dinner. It was so good, as usual. For dessert , we churned homemade triple fruit ice cream.

After dinner, we headed back home to enjoy the rest of the evening. The boys opened the Christmas Eve pj's.

The Sunday before Christmas, we only had sacrament meeting. The Sunday before Christmas is always one of my favorites. I love the music and the spirit the fills the meeting. After church, we took a family picture with the boys in their new Christmas church clothes. Travis was sick that day and had stayed home from church, but agreed to get dressed so that we could have a family picture.

We had plans to go to Cody for dinner/white elephant/ugly sweater that evening at the Whitlocks, but since Travis had been sick, we didn't end up going. We filled the rest of the day with Christmas movies, painting nutcrackers, napping and yummy chili and cinnamon rolls.
