Track

Carson's track season is coming to a close. They had their home meet last weekend and it was a beautiful 80 degree day! Carson had a busy meet, as he threw the shot and discuss and ran the 200, 4x100 relay and 4x200 relay. He improved his throwing distances in both events. This was his first time running in any of these events and did good. Their relay teams took 3rd in both races. They are preparing this week for Conference on Saturday.  They take the top three 6th graders in each event, so he will find out today what events he will be participating in.

He was most worried about handing off the baton since they had only practiced it once! But, they were able to do it.

It was quite hot outside and Travis found some shade under the stairs of the bleachers. I told his he was the troll under the bridge.

Christian took a nice selfie of us. It was so nice and we all walked away with sunburns despite our best efforts to not get any!
