End of school

May 24th was the boys last day of school. They were all very much ready for school to be done! They all had great years and grew mentally and physically!

Left: First day...Right: Last day

The morning of their last day, they have an awards assembly. I was told that one of my kids was going to be recognized during the assembly. Landon was awarded the bucket filler for his class. Being a bucket filler means that he is polite and friendly to everyone, helps others without being asked, practices good manners and treats others with respect. Landon really does have all these qualities. He was given a certificate and a bag full of goodies. I was also recognized for volunteering in the school, which was a total surprise.

One of the best parts of the day, is that the kids get to meet the teachers they will have next year and see who will be in their class. Landon will have Mrs. Scheeler and Travis will have Mrs. Winland. Both are good teachers that the boys are excited for!

Carson's last day of school included a dodgeball tournament. There were several teams of students, staff and even community law enforcement personnel. He had a blast! Carson absolutely loved middle school and he really thrived. He loved the little bit of freedom they got, sports, the teachers and picking his classes. I hope he enjoys 7th grade just as much!
