Lovell's Days week

We enjoyed all of the Mustang Days celebrations a week ago. Travis was asked to be in a kids boot camp routine this year for the follies. We were able to attend on Wednesday night and watch his group. They did a really good job with their routine and he was sad to miss doing it in the Thursday performance due to a baseball game!
The group that Travis performed with. He had such a good time!

Some of the kids were asked to do handstand pushups and Travis did a great job. We had practiced at home a few times and they were not so great, so I was glad to see he didn't kick his partner in the head or land on his face!

After their Wednesday performance. Because of baseball, Travis wasn't able to perform for the Thursday follies.

Uncle Jacob was called up on the stage to do his best impersonation of Old Faithful in between acts. He did a pretty impressive impersonation.

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights, we spent watching Travis play baseball over in Powell at their tournament. The beat one Powell team Tuesday, the #1 Powell team Thursday, sending them into the Championship game Friday against the Braves from Lovell. The Braves ended up coming out on top in that game, which was a tough loss. We had beat them twice in the season (they beat us once), the last time was 10-0. They were just the better team that day! Travis had great coaches that taught him a lot this season!
Travis had quite the crowd of followers at his tournament games. One night my aunt, uncle and cousin from Evanston showed up adding three more to the crowd!
Having a talk after their loss.

Travis and Landon did swimming lessons every morning during the week. Landon was super excited to do them...Travis not so much. He hated the fact that Carson didn't have to take them this year and he did. Once he started them, he liked them though. They both ended up passing their classes this year and will be moving up next summer.

Landon waiting for his turn to get in.

Friday night after baseball, we rented the kids a movie and headed down to listen to the Cowley's boys play in the street. There weren't too many people our age hanging out down there, but we stayed for a couple of hours and enjoyed the music and people watching! Saturday, we went to the parade and went to lunch over at Grandma Dorothy's house. The family is in the process of trying to sell it now, so this was kind of the last hurrah for the house. We enjoyed sandwiches and hanging out with Brad, Ranee and their kids and Sherrie. After lunch, we headed out to the lake for a couple of hours, but headed home before it got too crazy out there with people showing up for the fireworks. We didn't go to the fireworks this year because Christian has church meetings starting at 5:30 am and I was talking the next morning in sacrament meeting and needed to be prepared for that.
Michael, Christian, Daniel Robertson and Kade Caturia catching up before the parade started.
Finally got to go out in the boat! Can't wait for some more boat time!

The boys enjoying their time on the tube.
