Lately

We have been having a beautiful fall! It's been cool at night and warms up nicely in the afternoon. Last week, Christian took two days off of work. On Tuesday, he took the day off and went on an all day field trip with Carson's class into Dry Head (where they take cows) to the buffalo jump that is up there. Carson was super excited that his dad was willing to go with him, and Christian said it was a really good time. It sounded like a great trip and Carson even brought home a nice buffalo bone that he found.

The other day that he took off, he spent the day fishing with some co-workers. He said he had the big catch of the day.

Landon has been keeping busy by helping me and playing. My mom came over one day and helped me caulk trim and doorways and fill nail holes in the trim. I spent the next two days (like 16 hours between the two) caulking and painting the trim and doors in the rooms that are getting carpet. Our carpet was supposed to be installed on Monday, but the guy that is doing it had a family emergency and wont be able to start for a little while.

Landon had some crackers for a treat one day and when I went in to check on him while he was playing, he had distributed the crackers to each of his cows that were in the corrals. It was so funny.



 

Carson started flag football a couple of weeks ago. They only have a couple of games, so they have been able to learn a lot about the game and build on their skills. His first game was last night and he had a really good time. He loves football! He and the other boys in the neighborhood always play it when they get together! He's looking forward to his other game and is hoping they can set up couple of them so they can play some more.
