Weaning calves

This last Saturday, we got to go into Dry Head and help wean calves. Christian went in early with his brothers and the rest of us left Lovell around 9 to meet up with them. It was a really warm day, but was kind of windy which I guess we were thankful for since it helped it seem not too hot. This year, the boys only got to each ride once. Carson went out on the second round up and Travis went out on the third round up. Landon got to ride with Christian when they pushed the momma's back out the last time. They would have liked to ride more, but there are getting to be more that want to ride and not enough kid horses to go around.

The kids spent a fair amount of time playing down by the creek. It wasn't too long before they were muddy, but they sure had fun.
