We celebrated Landon's birthday Friday evening with our family. We decided that since it was October, we could do a Halloween theme for his party. The boys and some of their cousins dressed up in costumes. We had Café Rio burritos for dinner and then cake and ice cream for dessert. Landon got some fun gifts like a fishing pole, calf roping rope, a scooter, a ninja turtle, a knight outfit and other fun things that the kids all had fun playing with! It was fun to get to celebrate with all our family!

| I bought these orange paper lanterns last year on clearance for 50 cents for the package of three. They made the cutest pumpkins for the party! |
This is what the boys decided to dress up as for the party
Opening presents:
| A fishing pole from grandpa and grandma Asay |
| A rope from grandpa and grandma Foulger. He was so surprised by it! |
| The smoke was getting in his face so he was trying to get away from it by leaning to the side. |
| Dressed up in some of his knight gear. Travis wore most of it...I guess we should have gotten him some. |

| Funny story about the cheese balls: My mom went with us to Cody early last week so I could do some birthday shopping. While we were in Wal-Mart, Landon saw this huge tub of cheese balls and got super excited about them. My mom decided to get a tub to give to him for his birthday. The whole way home, he kept asking if he could have some when he got to grandma's house. My mom kept telling him that she wanted to save them for another day, or she wasn't ready to open them yet. But, he kept asking. When she got to her house, he asked again for some and she finally gave in (like good grandma's do) and gave him some. When he found them in his pile of gifts before the party, he was SO excited! This boy is excited about his cheese balls! |
