Happy Birthday, Travis!

 

 Yesterday, Travis turned 7! Since we celebrated big on Saturday, the day was pretty low-key. He got to sleep in since we had been out late the night before helping freeze corn and I took them to school. We had pancakes for breakfast and he opened one present. He asked if he could take rice crispy squares for his birthday snack to school. We rounded out the day with breakfast burritos for dinner (his request) and a few more presents.

At 7, Travis:
*is still missing his two front teeth
*is a really good worker
*favorite food is tacos
*still sucks his thumb (mostly when he's tired)
*is pretty particular about what he wears and likes to have his hair spiked up in the front
*is full of energy and goes 110 miles and hour all the time
*he loves all sports and is pretty good at them
*he loves to "collect" (but it's more like hoarding) things. His dresser is usually full of things and so is the corner by his dresser.
*he is really good about playing with his younger brother and cousins
*his chores are to clean his room, set the table and empty the dishwasher
