Asay update

Here are some things we have been up to.

Our basement is coming along! They should finish the trim tomorrow and then we should be able to install the carpet! So excited!
Trim and doors hung (but not painted).

Grandpa Asay started digging beets and the boys took a ride in the tractor until the digger was full.

The boys finished up their corn sales. We figure we picked around 3700 ears of corn to sell. Not too shabby! Landon enjoyed an ear straight out of the field on our last pick. It was still super juicy and yummy.

My mom and I crafted one day last week and made these cute fall door hangers. After we made them, we decided they were too cute to hang outside and get all faded and yucky so we made the decision to keep them indoors.

I canned 16 pints of tomatoes one day last week. Landon wanted to help so I put him in charge of taking the stems off the tomatoes. We have a plentiful crop of tomatoes this year, so we will can some more whole tomatoes and possibly some tomato juice.
Carson had been begging to go out and shoot his bb gun. We made a trip out to the hills to shoot guns Saturday afternoon and had a good time!
