School Registration

Ah! School is almost here and I'm not sure I'm ready for my kids to go back. We even got an extra almost 2 weeks added to our summer since the high school isn't quite completed. Monday morning, we took the boys over to the school so they could find their classrooms, meet their teachers and drop off their school supplies. We visited Travis' classroom first and introduced him to Mrs. Bush. He was able to find his desk and leave his supplies there along with his coat hook. Mrs. Bush showed him which door to come to when the bell rang on the first day and showed him around the room. I'm hoping that this helped calm some of his nerves. He's told me a few times that he is nervous about going to school!

Next we found Carson's classroom. He got to pick where he wanted to sit, and I was surprised he didn't choose to sit next to his good friend Jacob (but I'm sure it's probably a good thing they aren't sitting next to each other). He was mostly excited to see the tarantual, their class pet, that he had heard so much about. The spider was hiding so they didn't end up seeing it.

 I hope the boys each have a great year and learn lots of things! As for now, I'm going to enjoy that last few days I have with them before they leave me again!
