This last Sunday, we had a family party to celebrate Travis turning 6. His actual birthday isn't until September 1st, but we are going to be out of town and decided we would celebrate early with school and such starting as soon as we get back. We had about 30 family members to celebrate with us! Travis was very particular in what he wanted for dinner at his party: hamburgers, hot dogs, frog eye salad (and he made sure to remind me that it isn't really frog eyes in there but they are just noodles), chips and a veggie tray. We added some other items too to make sure we had enough for everyone.
| Grandpa, Daniel, Michael and Emily (sorry your eyes are closed!) eating outside. We were happy that it warmed up in time for the party. We had had several days in a row of wind, rain and only getting to around 60...cold for the end of August! |
| Kasi and Paige, Ian, Charlene and Donna. |
| Travis, Kandace, Renae (Jared's fiance), uncle Jared and Carson chilling at the "kids table". |
| Chloe was my helper when I took pictures. She was so cute and watched on my screen every time we took a picture. |
| Grandma Foulger, Great grandma Foulger, Emily, Great grandpa Foulger and Grandpa Asay loading up their plates for some dinner. |
| Travis wanted a ninja turtle party and Grandma Dorothy brought the coolest "turtle shell" jellos for the kids to eat. They were so fun! |
| Christian, Matthew, Jared and Renae. |
| Jason, Great grandma and grandpa Foulger, Grandma Dorothy, grandma Foulger and Cassie having some dinner. |
As soon as it looked like everyone was done eating dinner, Travis was begging to open presents. He got some super cool stuff and lots of fun ninja turtle things! The boys have been playing ninja turtles everyday since Sunday!
| A cool bow with arrows that have been lots of fun to shoot! |
| He got a new lunch box from great grandpa and grandma Foulger that was full of all sorts of yummy treats. He was so excited about the jerkey and is saving it for our camping trip in Jackson! |
After opening gifts, we lit some candles and had some cake!
Travis was pretty impressed with his ninja turtle cake we got. We didn't know how it was going to turn out since we ordered it over the phone, but he loved it...and it tasted yummy too!

| Cousin Janelle with some of Travis's new ninja turtle gear. Love the little pink tutu! |
| The cousins had so much fun playing together with the new and old toys! |
| Trying out his new bow...with a little Jason hiney! |
| After everyone left, we used all the masks he got from his birthday and took a family selfie! Turtle Power!! |
We will celebrate his real birthday next Monday as we drive home from Jackson! We sure had fun celebrating your birthday, Travis!
You said hiney. Looks like a way fun party, wish we could have been there! But we'll party it up in Jackson! The family turtle selfie is the best. Love you guys!
