Beach day!

As our summer is starting to wrap up, we are trying to hurry and finish up a few things on our Summer bucket list that we haven't crossed off yet. One of those things was to go to the beach at Horseshoe Bend and play. The boys always have so much fun; I need to try better to take them out there more during the summer instead of just once! We met up with Grandma Asay and Charlene and her kids and another friend out there and played for a few hours. It wasn't super hot and the water wasn't too cold making it perfect for us all!
Travis found one almost dead minnow when we first got there. He tried to find more but just wasn't successful. We even went over to the dock area where we have seen them before and didn't find any. Maybe next time!
We brought a picnic and enjoyed it...along with some sand...for lunch!

Enjoying some lunch!
This is pretty much all we saw of Carson for the majority of the time we were there. This kid LOVES to snorkel and is really good at it. He can skim across the top an dive down and then come back up and pick up where he left off. His skills really paid off this time when we found a pair of polarized sunglasses! He's excited to take them fishing some where so he can see the fish really good!

The kids worked on filling this "pond" up with water.

A rock Carson found while snorkeling. It looks like it has some fossil prints in it.
