The weekend!

On Friday this week, our neighbors (the Crosby's) invited the boys over to play on the huge bouncy water slide they rented for their family reunion. I sent the two older boys over for a while while I finished up some cleaning then I took Landon over and watched for a bit while they had fun! I think they could have done it all day long!!

Saturday, we made a trip up to the temple. We picked up my dad in Deaver and met my mom and sister, Megan, in Billings. Megan had flown into Billings late Friday night. My mom picked her up there and then they stayed the night. We did a session together. It was so nice to be able to go to the temple. It had been a while since we had gone! We ran to Cabela's while the others went to a sealing and Christian did some guy shopping for fishing gear and then we met up with my parents and sister for lunch at Olive Garden.
I love this guy and the temple!
Grandma Asay came to the house and stayed until the boys got up for the day and then took them out to her house. They had fun helping grandpa and playing with grandma's new kitty that had been missing for a few day. Landon loves Gloria, the new kitty, and can barely stand to not be holding or touching her. He even decided to give her a ride on the little tractor!
Landon and Gloria!
We picked the boys up and headed back to our house around 5. I helped clean the church with some other relief society sisters and came home to party with my mom and dad and Megan. We grilled up some burgers for dinner and then headed to Byron for the fireworks. This year, instead of being in the park (where they fire off the fireworks), we sat in the baseball fields where we met up with Jason and Cassie. We weren't sure if we were going to be able to see the fireworks very well or hear the music, but it ended up working out awesome and the boys were able to get up and move around the whole time! We could see everything and still hear the music. The only thing I missed about being in the park was actually being able to feel the fireworks, but I  think this will be a great place to continue to  watch them. As usaul, the fireworks were amazing!! The town of Byron sure knows how to put on a great show!!
Chowing down before the fireworks.
Waiting for the fireworks to start.

Here are some sights from the sky!

Today (Sunday), we went to church, had naps and then ran to Powell to have dinner with my family before Auntie Butts had to catch a flight out of Cody home. It was such a great weekend spent with family!
