It's gone!

Travis lost his first tooth today! Last night he came to me and told me he thought it was ready to come out. I gave it a wiggle and sure enough, it was definitely ready to come out. I tried a couple of times to pull it out but it actually kind of freaks me out so I gave up. Christian was with his brother Matthew helping grandpa Monk catch a horse, so I told him that in the morning, we could have dad do it (and then sent a quick text to Christian to have him pick up a pack of gum on his way home so the tooth fairy would be prepared to visit Sunday night).  First thing this morning he was asking Christian to pull it. Christian tried a couple of times but didn't want to hurt him, so they let it rest. Shortly before church they tried it again, and out it came! Travis kind of had a scared look on his face as it popped out, but was all smiles after that! Actually, the tooth right next to it is super loose and will probably be ready to come out in a couple of days! He's hoping the tooth fairy comes tonight!
