FHE picnic

Last night we made another trip into Dry Head to check on the cows for family home evening. They still seem to be happy! As soon as we got there, we started a fire and cooked some hamburgers and hot dogs. While dinner was cooking and being eaten, we turned some homemade strawberry frozen yogurt to eat for desert (along with s'mores)!
Grandma Asay helping Landon roast a hot dog over the fire.
Christian took over the hamburger cooking so I could go and take some pictures.
Travis, Landon, Matthew and Ian enjoying some dinner.
Most of our group.
Grandpa Asay had some good helpers to turn the frozen yogurt.
It was pretty hard work!
Carson talked his dad into letting him take his bb gun in to shoot. Although it looks like he is aiming at those cows, he isn't...there was a pop bottle on the ground in front of him that he was shooting at.
This time, we cam prepared with nets to catch salamanders. It didn't appear that they had grown any more since we were there last Wednesday, but they managed to catch like 30 of them while we were there!
The guys taking a walk around to see how many they could catch.

Seeing if they could catch any.

  1. Looks like a busy summer with lots of outings and fun times! Your boys are getting so big...that Landon sure is keeping up with his brothers!
