4th grade play

As the school year is winding down, there are lots of activities going on! The 4th graders were able to perform their 4th grade play tonight, and the announced the winners of the science fair (which is a huge project in 4th grade). This year, Landon was a prospector and did such a good job! I almost missed his part becuase I wasn't paying attention to where we were in the program. They were hard to hear at times and difficult to see when he was singing, but the singing was really good and the kids all looked really great! Earlier in the day, they performed the play for the whole school. Landon had taken a mustache to wear, but they couldn't get the backing off, so they just taped it on. One of the other 4th grade teachers told him that if he would wiggle his mustache during both plays, she would give him $5. Well, he did it, and Mrs. Winland followed through on her promise and Landon is $5 richer! It was super cute!

Landon's project didn't win any awards (although I told him I though he was the overall winner that night because he got $5), but he worked really hard on it!
