Randoms

Here are a few randoms from May so far. We had our annual Cinco de Mayo party. We cooked pork carnitas, homemade totilla chips and guac, spanish rice, and churros for dessert! It was yummy!!

Baseball games have started! Landon has been praticing for a few weeks and last weekend was our opening night. Landon is part of the Nationals team this year. They had their first game after the opening ceremony. He pitched the whole game and did such a great job! He didn't pictch out and didn't walk a single batter! I am always amazed at his poise when he pitches. He never seems to get frustrated and his nerves never show on the surface even though I know he is so nervous on the inside! They ended up winning their game 15-3. Let's hope the season continues to go well!

It is finally asparagus season! Looking for asparagus is one of our favorite things to do in the Spring. We went out last weekend and got a small bundle, but this weekend we really hit the jack pot! Yay for lots of asparagus!
