Polynesian Cultural Center

On Friday, we got up and had some breakfast at the resort. We shared a yummy acia bowl and some french toast, saw some fun little creatures and Mickey and Minnie!
We had scheduled an excursion to the other side of the island at the Polynesian Cultural Center. The PCC is a site where you can learn about all the different islands in the Pacific. They talk about their history and culture. It was so neat to hear about their histories and see their dances. We started with lunch (Christian enjoyed his garlic shrimp) and ran into Kent and Lori and Sha and Brandon.
After exploring all the "islands", we enjoyed a luau and yummy buffet dinner. The virgin pina coladas were SO good!
Our whole Hawaii group!
After the luau, we attended an amazing show, HA, breat of life. It had great dancing and the best part of the show was the fire dancer guys! They were so fun to watch! After the show, we loaded our bus and headed back to the resort. We spend Saturday on the beach again enjoying the sunshine.
That evening, we walked down to the little shopping center and had dinner at a Mexican Restaurant. The food was ok, but the dessert, churros, was so fun and yummy. Inside the little cart was some vanilla ice cream and some strawberry, chocolate and caramel sauce to dip the churros in.
We played cards agian that night after dinner.
