New Year's Day

Our New Year's Day was pretty low key during the day. We stayed at home and just enjoyed doing nothing. We had our annual Oiebollen breakfast and gave Christian his birthday gifts. I did some cleaning in preparation for family to come over that night for Christian's birthday, but other than that,we just hung out. That night, we invited Christian's family and my family over for a pizza party to celebrate Christian turning the big 4-0. We enjoyed pizza, chips, salad and pop for dinner and then opened a few gifts. Michael and Emily got him some great/funny gifts for him including adult diapers, a pill box, some gripper socks, and some other great stuff!

We sure love Christian and all he does for us. He is always up for an adventure, funny, a great example to his boys and so much more!
