The Fifth graders got to participate in an Arbor Day poster contest. Carson's poster won 2nd place in his class which yielded him a two person hammock as a prize (which he is convinced he gets to hang in his room)! They got to go plant trees and learn about landscaping at the park as part of an Arbor Day celebration.
