Putting up the tree this year took several days. Not because it's hard to do, but finding enough time while everyone was around was hard to find. We had planned to put it up Sunday before church (one of the perks to having 3:00 church), but had a change of plans when I had to do some things for church that I didn't know I would be doing. We got it assembled that day, but that was it. I'm pretty sure we could have left it like that and Landon would have been ok with it! Monday morning, he told me, "Mom, I'm going to eat my apple over by the tree because it's just so beautiful!"

Monday afternoon after the boys got home from school and before we had to leave for hunter safety, the boys were able to get it mostly decorated. They really wanted to do the colored lights and put all the ornaments on, but I wanted white lights and just certain ones...I won and told them next year we could do it their way!

| Pretty happy with their finished product! And don't ask my why Landon has his shirt on backwards! |
Tuesday, Landon and I made cinnamon gingerbread ornaments to put on the tree and finish it up! Our house smelled amazing and I love our tree!
