A little Summer S&S:skiing and soccer

We participated in two of our favorite Summer S's today (well, one is everyone's favorite and one is Travis's). We started at 8:30 this morning with Travis's first soccer game. Soccer here is always really unorganized, but Travis always loves it. He scored his team's only goal and is a hustler (he needs to be better about staying on his feet)! He also scored one point for the other team accidentally while he was goalie and dropped the ball after he picked it up and then it rolled into the net...oops! We have games every other day for the next two weeks and this season will be done.

Playing goalie.

Getting a hi-five from his friend and teammate, Sam M.,  after he scored his goal.

When soccer was finally over, we headed home, ate some breakfast and then headed out to the lake with Grandpa Foulger (grandma Foulger stayed home with a yucky head cold). We had a great time at the lake and enjoyed some really nice water up in the red butte rock area, a place we don't usually go to. Carson conquered going over both wakes and was a skiing machine! I think he skied probably a dozed times. He would quite/crash and go again because "the water is amazing right now" (in his words). He's discovered this skiing thing is even more fun now that he can move around and not have to stay right behind the boat.
First time over the wake.

Travis really wanted to try double skiing with Carson while the water was nice. We gave it a try and they were successful. Travis crashed a few times because he would accidentally go over the wake, but they had fun together and it was so fun to see them smiling and skiing together! After 4 hours of playing, we headed home but got ice cream bars from the marina before we drove home.
