Adventures from last week

Here are some of our adventures from the last week:

One of Grandpa Asay's pigs finally had her babies, so we went to check them out. It was kind of scary to watch Grandpa try and steal one from the momma...she was feisty! But, he was able to sneak one away without any injury and the boys loved that little piggy!

Our lives have kind of been consumed by working on the basement! The guys finally finished the drywall/texturing, so we primed for two days after we were given the go ahead to start. It's amazing how different it looks even with just some primer on the walls. The boys all got to help since we didn't have to worry about carpet or trim and they were actually all really good helpers! We have been trying to make our final decisions for flooring (which is super stressful!) so we can get them ordered and decided on a paint color. I'll be happy when we can just enjoy our new space!!
Ready to start our priming adventure! My mom thought Travis looked like a minion!
Working away.
When the two younger ones went down for some naps, Carson stuck it out with my mom and I and kept painting. Here he is priming his room.!
The space under our stairs was a PAIN. This is where all the equipment for our surround sound and such will be going so we decided to finish it. my back was sure sore after spending some quality time in here.

After our second day of painting, we rewarded the boys hard work by taking them to the Park County Fair to see the Knights of Valor perform with grandpa and grandma Foulger. It was a surprise and they didn't find out exactly what we were doing until we finished our greasy fair food. The two older boys LOVED every minute of the show/jousting. Landon was less than excited (which really surprised me) and just bounced from lap to lap! After the show, we had to take a trip around all the animal barns to check them out too.
Ready to watch the jousting!

All the knights lined up.

The day after watching the knights, the boys spent the day outside jousting one another!
Thursday night, we made a quick trip out to the lake. Sadly, it was only the 2nd time we have done it this year! Travis and Christian both skied before it got too choppy and decided to head back home.
Carson and I hung out in the boat while the others all played in the water. He still isn't supposed to get his incision wet with yucky water! He informed my it was torture to not get to ski while we were there.
Christian helping Travis out in the water so he could ski.
Friday marked one week post-op for Carson. The pic on the left is one week post op and the one on the right is the day of surgery.

Saturday, we got up and headed to Cowley for the parade. We had plans of heading out to the lake as soon as it was over, but decided to head to Dave and Sherrie's for lunch instead. We finally made our way out to the lake around 2. We boated for about 2 hours and then headed back to shore. We decided to let the boys play at the beach area for a while since they don't get to do that very often.
We took a ride up the canyon and saw four big rams together on the canyon walls.

Landon and Carson enjoying some chips and dip on the boat.
We bandaged Carson up and let him ride the tube. He was so happy to get to do something in the water this time!
Family selfie! Don't worry, Landon wasn't sad...just making crazy faces!!
Three cute boys playing in the water.

Travis tubing.

And just because they are so cute! Just love these cheesy boys!
