ATV ride

On Saturday, we made a trip into Dry Head for a family 4-wheeler/razor ride. Two years ago, we went with my parents, grandparents and brother and his wife on one above Meeteetsee and had lots of fun. Ever since, we've been saying we needed to take everyone into Dry Head so they can see the area that my boys talk about moving cows to. This year, my grandparents and parents met at our house around9:30 and we loaded our 4-wheeler onto a trailer and headed  out. We drove and parked the vehicles in the pond area where Grandpa Asay's cows currently are. We unloaded the 4-wheelers and razors and drove down to the pond to check on the cows and water level. After seeing that everything was good, we took off. Christian took us all the way into where we go when we wean calves in the fall. We stopped and had lunch up by Snell's trailer and just enjoyed the beautiful day. We then continued up into the meadow, turned around and then made a big circle back. It was fun to see different spots that I hadn't ever seen like the meadow and up above the area where we trail the cows for the rest of their summer stay.
Our group of riders.

Travis rode most of the trip with grandma and grandpa Foulger in the razor. On the way back, Landon was starting to fall asleep on the 4-wheeler with Christian so we stuck him in there too!

My grandparents.

Carson and I rode together pretty much the whole trip.
Carson was my photographer as we drove along on the ride. He took some pretty good pictures for me!

It was a beautiful day!

Christian telling everyone something about the area we were at.

My cute boys!

Landon enjoying his sandwich.  I was informed later that sandwiches were kind of a boring and lame lunch.

Eating some lunch.

Pictures from our ride up into the meadow.

The view looking back from where we had come.

This is kind of hard to see, but as we were riding through the meadow, every so often there would be spots where the grass was all flattened down. We think that it was caused from bears laying down in the grass. I'm just glad we didn't see any while on our adventure!
