Last night was the K-3 Christmas concert. I learned my lesson after the first year of almost not getting a seat and sent Christian down to get in line at 5 (doors opened at 5:30 and the concert started at 6)! Last year, they changed it so that everyone didn't have to sit through the 3rd grade play if they didn't want to. The K-2 singing got done around 6:45 so we waited around for the 3 grade play to start of 7:30. Landon went to play at Grandma Dorothy's house so he wouldn't have to sit and be still/quite for 3 hours and I know he had way more fun there than with us.
The songs and play were all great. Both boys had speaking parts and did really good on them!
Travis looking pretty handsome (and putting out the vibe)before his program!

This song required the kids to whistle during part of it and I wondered how many of them actually knew how to whistle!

It's blurry, but Travis and three of his friends got to say: Let's knock it down and eat it (talking about a gingerbread house)
Carson's play was really cute! He was chosen to be an elf and did great. He was really concerned that some of the other elves weren't going to have play tools to work with during the play so he rounded up about 6 more to take with him and share if others needed some. He's always thinking of others! He had all (I actually didn't know he had so many) parts memorized and said them really slow and clearly.

Posing with a screw driver before the program since his saw was already at the Hyart.
All dressed up and ready to perform. He was told that he had to have green, red or white pants to wear as part of his costume, and let me tell you, it is hard to find any of those colors in his size! Luckily, grandma Foulger was able to find some in Utah when she was there a couple weeks ago!
