Our Christmas Day was wonderful and crazy all together! Christmas Eve, I told the boys that they couldn't get up until 7:00. At 7:02, Carson was in my room asking if they could get up. Nobody else was awake, so I told him to head back to bed for a little bit. At 7:30, no one else had waken up, so I decided to jump in the shower and told Christian to go get Carson and let him come watch tv in our room, and once I was done with my shower we could wake the other two boys up. By the time I had gotten out of the shower, the other two were up, so we headed out to the living room. I guess the boys had been good because Santa visited us and left us some really nice things.

When we were done opening gifts, we had some breakfast and got ready to head to Grandma Asay's house so we could talk to Jacob who is serving his mission in the Ukraine. He was supposed to call around 9:30 so we figured we would give grandpa and grandma some time to talk before we got there and would head over around 10. Jacob actually called early, so we almost didn't get to talk with him, but we are glad that grandpa Asay called to tell us he was on!

After we said goodbye to Jacob, we got to open gifts from grandpa and grandma Asay. All three boys got UW cowboys sweatshirts and legos. Christian and I each got some gift cards to do some shopping!

Chloe loved that Travis would push her around in the baby stroller she got from grandpa and grandma!
We had lunch and then visited with everyone for a while before heading over to Powell for dinner there. We had a yummy ham for dinner and then opened gifts.

Carson was so excited about the fish tank grandpa and grandma got him. He has been wanting one for a while and finally got one. He got a blue beta fish and named him Blueberry (and calls it BB for short).

Christian got a fat slalom ski to use next summer. Carson has already named it Fat Amy (like from the movie Pitch Perfect)
Landon had a pretty big gift that he was so excited to open. He sat patiently by it while he waited for the gift opening to start. Once it was time to starte, he carefully stacked his smaller gifts on top of it and made sure they were on there just right. He was pretty meticulous about it. He was really excited to open it and see a cool loader to use out in the "Co-op" this summer.

All four of us girls got new scarves for Christmas and were wearing them that night, so we had to take a girl's picture!
We had a wonderful Christmas and are thankful that we got to spend it with our families. We are grateful for our Savior and this time of year when we get to celebrate his birth!
Christian was able to take the day after Christmas off so we could enjoy the day together as a family. I always feel bad for the boys because we are always running, running, running like crazy on Christmas so they don't really get to enjoy their new toys much, so it was fun for Christian to be home to help them put everything together and play with them. I left few hours in the morning to help decorate for Jared's wedding and that evening, we went to see the movie The Penguins of Madagascar.

Love Landon's loader! It was such a great Christmas!
