Friday was Carson's 9th birthday, and we celebrated ALL DAY long! We started the morning off by having pancakes and Carson got to open two presents: a new outfit to wear and a flag football set (to be used later that day). He decided he wanted to take a bag of oreos and kool aid squeeze its for his birthday treat at school.

New out fit. He had been asking for an under armor shirt and finally got one.
|
We had to open this one early so we could use it to play football at his party later in the day.
At 11:30, I picked him up and went and had lunch at Minchow's during his lunch time.

My pretty handsome lunch dates!
On Fridays, the kids get out of school at 1:30, so we had a friend party at the church gym right after school was out until 3. The boys arrived and immediately saw the flags for flag football on the back of their chairs and wanted to play.

Carson and his friends: Manning M. Travis, Braxton F., Carson and Jacob B. We had one more (Parker A.) show up later after we had already taken the picture! These are a great group of boys!

Crazy faces!
They played for quite a while and then they decided it was half time and they needed some snacks. Carson requested nachoes and little smokies for his treats.

After some snackes, the boys played a game of pig and then opened presents and had cupcakes and ice cream.

After dessert, they continued to play, run, and be wild like little boys do! He had so much fun with his friends this year!
As soon as we were done cleaning up the gym, we headed home and to make a couple of soups (he requested chicken noodle soup and death by chocolate again this year) to have for dinner at our family party. We had a great turn out and got some really cool gifts!

Grandpa and Grandma Asay got him a little air soft pistols. We went and shot them the next day and they are perfect for the boys!

Carson received a package from great grandpa and grandma Foulger that had two word finds in it that had dollar bills stashed in the pages as a reward for getting pages done. Needless to say, he immediately got to work on the pages.
