Weekend adventures

We got to have an extended weekend this week. Carson didn't have any school Friday, so it gave us an extra day to have some fun. Friday, we picked up my mom in Powell and headed to Cody to find Carson some new cowboy boots. We shopped at some other stores, grabbed some lunch and then made our way back to my mom's house where we decorated Halloween sugar cookies.

Saturday, Christian left early to help his family move cows from their summer pasture in Dry Head part of the way back home. Bringing cows home for the winter is always a three day process. We picked up Grandma Asay and met up with everyone just after they made it to the corrals, where they separate cows and leave them for the night.

Today, the boys and I went to church, had lunch and short naps, and then met up with the guys again shortly before they got to the corrals for the night. They will go the rest of the way home tomorrow. It has been beautiful fall weather for moving cows and the trees are beautiful this year! Tomorrow it's supposed to get really cold and snowy, so we were happy that we got to be around today and yesterday!
