Picking pumpkins

We got a pretty hard frost this week and it pretty much did in the gardens around. Sad day for the vegetables still out, but happy day for my boys who were able to go and pick some pumpkins out in grandma's garden. We picked all that we could find which turned to be quite a few...more than grandma Asay thought she was going to have! Each of the grandkids there got to (or will) pick out their favorite pumpkin. It was fun to see all the different colors in the pumpkins! I love fall! It's such a beautiful time of year!

Travis was pretty quick to find the one he wanted. He picked a big orange one!

Landon chose one that the sheep had nibbled on.

Cute boys!

Me and my hubby!

My crazy kids!

Landon staking his claim on his pumpkin.
Cousins!

There were a couple of HUGE squashes found in the garden! Landon, of course, thought it was fun to ride it!
After harvesting all the pumpkins, the boys decided they would take some of the squash and small pumpkins and play some baseball.

Hey batter, batter!
Connecting. My boys thought the flying particles of pumpkin were pretty awesome. I think this particular squash came flying right at me!
Matthew is always holing Ian up in the air and Carson wanted to try it out. Let's just say that he's not cut out to be a cheerleader...thank goodness!
