Holiday Happenings!

December is always a busy month and seems to go by so quickly! Here are a few things we have been up to leading up to Christmas. Grandma Foulger came over and we baked up a storm! Baking Christmas candy with my mom is one of my favorite Christmas traditions (and my kids). We ended up delivering 27 plates to friends and family!
Our ward put on a very nice Christmas party. We had chilli and cinnamon rolls and they gave each family a ham to take home to put in the freezer. The highlight is always a visit from Santa.
I would have liked to hear what these two boys were telling Santa and laughing about! The high school flex classes had a door decorating contest. Carson's flex ended up being the winners this year. The theme was Whoville and their only requirement was that they had to incorporate the metal angel that the Grinch makes in the movie. I was quite impressed with their idea and execution!
There have been several dress up days at all the schools. Travis took advantage of ugly sweater day and Landon and I dressed up for the last day of school (I was subbing).
Wrestling...we've had two day tournaments every weekend. Carson has been wrestling Varsity and has wrestled at the 145 and 152 weight classes. He really weighs right around 145, but went up a weight to compete and did really well!
A big box arrived at our door full of our favorite white chocolate popcorn from Really Grandma Fouler! We have definitely been blessed with lots of goodies this Christmas. In one day, we were given 1 plate of goodies, 2 boxes of chocolates, a prime rib, the 4 boxes of popcorn, 2 cans of salsa, a bag of muffins and cookies, 4 mini loaves of bread and some refridgerator pickles! That's just in one day...we had several more plates of goodies and other yummy treats!!
The boys have been trying to fit in as much pheasant hunting as they can! They have had some successful days and some not so successful, but they always enjoy themselves.
Carson finally got his mount back from the taxedermist and it turned out really cool. Uncle Daniel took his and Carson's to work with him to have them scored. It came back that Carson's scored 73 6/8 and Daniel's was 69 1/8. Carson was pretty excited and is really hoping his mom will let him put it up in his room!
