Soaking up Summer

As the summer is widning down, we are tryingt to take advantage of everything we can! Friday after Christian got home from work, we made a quick trip up the mounatin to go fishing. We didn't realize that they area we usually fish had been blocked off because of the fires on the mountain, so we went over to cow camp and fished at the pond there. We only caught a few fish, but we enjoyed the evening and loved listening to the elk bugle all around us while we were fishing!

When we were done fishing, we drove to a campground and grilled some brauts and had a picnic for dinner.

Saturday morning, we headed up to the lake and spent the day soaking up the sunshine! They boys skiied, kneeboarded and wakeboarded and enjoyed playing on the shore.

Sunday, we went to church and then drove up to Five Springs Campground for a picnic and to find a place for family pictures during the Monk family reunion. We grilled some burgers, explored and then made our way back home and got boys ready to head to YM camp.
