This last weekend, we had some fun with the Foulger side of our family. Megan, Jabin and kids came to town for a week, and we tried to have lots of fun while they were here. On Thursday, Gandpa Foulger took his boat out and we all squished in and enjoyed the sunshine together. We all took turns surfing and skiing and just enjoyed the warmth and beautiful water!

Friday, as soon as the Asay cousin party was over, we ran home and finished loading up the pick up and headed up the mountain to camp with everyone. We had picked out and moved our camper the week before to a spot that could fit 3 campers. Grandpa and Grandma Foulger and Megan and Jabin made it up there earlier that afternoon and Jason and Cassie made it up a couple hours after us. We got things situated, which included trying to fill up our water tank with some more water, and then had somehot dogs for dinner. There was a fire ban, so it was sad to not be able to sit around the fire at night and visit and cook smores.

Saturday morning, the boys all got up and headed to Half Ounce to fish. They got back late morning, just in time for breakfast. They had a great time fishing and ended up catching like 60 little brookies!

On our way to them, the boys were in the lead and were within feet of a momma moose and her calf. They were hiding in some brush and they didn't see them until they were almost right next to them!

Landon and Travis were the only brave ones to slide down into the pools!

After our hike we came back to camp. The guys took turns shooting at empty pop cans while we got stuff ready for an early dinner and birthday party to celebrate Cassie's birthday.

That evening we sat around grandpa and grandma's camper and visited. Later in the evening, there was a large herd of elk on the hillside across from them, so we had fun watching them through Jason's binoculars.
Grandma Foulger brought out a bunch of glow sticks when it was dark and the kids (and Jason) had a blast playing with them!

Sunday morning, we got up and made breakfast, cleaned up and then went down to the creek for a bit. We came back and made some lunch and then everyone packed up their campers and headed for home.

We had a great time and hope we can do it next year when there isn't a fire ban so we can enjoy the campfire!
