We spent the 4th of July weekend doing 2 of our favorite things! Christian took Friday off so we could spend the day at the lake. It was a such a great day! The weather was amazing and the water was glass!

Saturday, Grandpa Asay decided to take his cows to their summer pasture in Dry Head. Because there aren't enough horses for all the riders, we went in later as a family. They boys did a good job of helping when they had the chance to ride. This summer, they got to take the cows to the lower place, which made for a shorter day.

After we arrived at the lower place, we had hamburgers for lunch and visited for a while. The kids had a good time trying to catch salamanders in the pond.

As we watched a storm move in, we decided it was time to load up and head out!
That evening, we kept things pretty low key, but had really nice evening. We barbequed, played some cornhole, shot off a few fireworks and enjoyed watching the fireworks from around town.
