Riverton tournament

On the 5th, we made our way over to Riverton for a baseball tournament. The all-stars team that Travis is a part of played together for the first time to see how they would do. Friday, they played two games (Riverton and Lander) and lost both of them. They really didn't play well at all!! Loosing put them at playing at 8 am Saturday morning. If they lost Saturday, they were done. They played their first game at 8, and beat Rock Springs. They had a couple of hours to get some breakfast and relax at the hotel. Their next game was at 12 and they played Riverton (who had beat them the day before). They ended up beating them in an extra inning! It was such an exciting game! Winning, they had to play immediately after that against Lander (who also beat them the day before). It was another exciting game and had to go an extra inning where Travis scored the winning run sending them to the Championship game! I don't think I've ever been so nervous and excited at a baseball game as I was during these two games!

In the championship, they played Cody, who we have beat 3 out of 4 times, but having played 3 previous games and it being hot, we were all out of pitchers and had some very exhausted boys. They ended up loosing 4-13, taking 2nd. It was a great tournament and Travis had an amazing weekend. He always does a good job, but this weekend he did awesome. His batting finally clicked, he pitched and caught well and played third base!

Travis choose KFC for dinner and then we grabbed dairy queen ice cream for the ride home. We got home around 10 that night, making for a long day! We were so happy to have church at 11:30 the next morning!

They were all asleep about 30 minutes into the car ride home.
