Grandma Asay held her annual Asay cousins party on Tuesday. This is something fun she has done for 3 years now and the kids always look forward to it! We started the party with swimming at the pool. She had reserved it just for us, so we had the place to ourselves!

Around noon, we got out of the pool, cleaned up and then headed to grandma Asay's house for lunch and more festivities.

After lunch was a treasure hunt. Grandma split the kid up into three groups this year according to age. I went with the big kids on theirs. At the end was some buried treasure they had to dig up. Inside the treasure box was a Susan B. Anthony dollar for each of the kids.

| All three groups stared at the mailbox and then took off from there. |
Landon's group finished earlier than the big kids, so he, grandpa and William rode the 4-wheeler around to make sure the big kids were finding everything!

After the treasure hunt, we went inside and the kids split into two groups. They got to make bouncy balls and paper airplanes.

Then came relay races outside, followed by a water balloon fight.

| Grandma had a helicopter thing that kept afloat by placing your hand under it. |

After all the balloons were gone, the kids changed and came in for some ice cream sundaes and grandma gave them each a water bottle full of candy and snacks to take home!
It is so fun to be able to spend a whole day with cousins and grandma. My kids are pretty luck to have such a fun and loving grandma!
