Back to School

The boys started school on Tuesday. They were all excited about their first day. I, was not so excited. I always miss having them at home! We stared out with pancakes for breakfast (in the shape of the grade they are in).

This year, Carson is in 7th grade. He's super excited about playing football and he his giving the trumpet a try this year in band!


Travis is in Mrs. Winland's 4th grade class this year. He was up before he had to be because he was so excited. He's looking forward to Wyoming history and football.


Landon is in 1st grade and has Mrs. Scheeler for his teacher. He's happy to have one of his good friends in his class this year!

We had our annual back to school neighborhood party at Steenbakkers after  the kids got home from school. Our group is getting smaller each year, but they kids still have lots of fun!

We had our annual back to school dinner that evening. We celebrated the first day with steak, corn on the cob, Caesar salad and brownie sundaes for dessert. It was fun to listen to them talk about new kids in their classes, what they did and the things they liked about the first day! It makes it easier on my heart to let them go back knowing they are having such great experiences!
