Day 3 in Hawaii began with a walk along the coast. It was beautiful! We could see whales breaching and blowing the whole walk! We stopped at one point and just sat and watched them! They are so cool to see!

After our walk and breakfast, we got ready and headed down to the pool to play. We played there most of the day.

There was lots of launching of children while they were in the pool.

The cousins had fun playing chicken against each other. Travis had a hard time sitting up on Carson's shoulders.

We got out of the pool and got ready late in the afternoon and then made our way over to Hookipa Beach just past the town of Paia to watch the turtles come on the beach and watch the surfers.
 |
| Checking out the massive waves. They were amazing to watch and watch the surfers. |

| We walked down closer to where the waves were. |
 |
| Turtles! We counted 30 turtles on the beach. They come in from the ocean and rest. |
 |
| We watched two turtles as they made their way from the ocean up onto the beach |
We weren't able to get down closer to where they were because the tide was so high, but they were interesting to watch from where we were. After watching the turtles, we drove back into Paia (which is a super hippie town) and had dinner at a great fish and chips restaurant. After dinner we enjoyed some gelato.
