Playing catch up!

It seems like I have been playing catch up on everything the last week. Here are a few things that have been going on. Last Friday, I got to make a girls trip down to see my sister with my mom. We left Friday morning and got home Monday early evening. Grandma Asay watched the boys Friday for me until Christian got home from work. She even still agreed to watch the boys when I told her that they had changed swimming lessons around and were going to have them Friday...meaning she would have to sit up in the "sauna" and watch the boys for 2.5 hours (we couldn't get any of them in lessons at the same time this year). Carson was asked to play on a tournament baseball team and had a game that night. They played a Basin team that night and it sounds like it was a close game, but they ended up loosing.

Landon wasn't real sure he wanted to go to swimming lessons the days leading up their start. Every time we would talk about him getting to do them, he would say he didn't want to or he wasn't going to do it. I was worried that he would do it on his first day when grandma Asay was taking him, so I promised him that if he did them without being sad, I would bring him a prize back from my trip. He did them great and has liked them every day since!

My mom, me and my sister before we left for a long day of shopping!
Saturday, they boys had a busy/long day! They got up fairly early and went out and helped grandpa Asay move some cows to the hills. As soon as they were done with that, they hurried home, grabbed a snack and headed to watch Carson play a double header. They played Worland first and got destroyed and then played the other Lovell tournament team and ended up loosing to them too. When the games were over, they ran home, changed clothes and then went back out to grandpa Asay's house to help him with cows again. Carson and Travis both got to ride and Landon got to take a few turns. While they were watching baseball and moving cows, in Utah, us ladies were busy shopping. We shopped at lots of fun places that we don't have around here and found some fun things. I was really hoping to find some things for our basement, but didn't have much luck. We ate at Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then did a little more shopping around Logan when we were done.
Carson and the tournament team he was asked to play on.

Landon was quick and caught a horny toad all by himself while they were moving cows. He wasn't very happy about having to leave him behind when it was time to head back.

Sunday, we all went to church in our different areas. Monday morning, we left and started our drive home. The trip was pretty uneventful until we got to Riverton where we discovered that we had  blown a tire on the trailer we were pulling. After a pit stop to get it fixed, we were on our way home. Christian took the day off and took the boys fishing at one of our favorite spots. They were able to catch quite a few bass, but had to call it a day because it was too hot!
Bear Lake as we were coming down the mountain on our way home.

Monday evening, the boys were messing around by the pump for our sprinklers and Travis fell and hit his face on the pipe knocking out his other front tooth. It had been loose but was definatley not ready to come out! We never could find the tooth in the grass (maybe he swallowed it?) but the tooth fairy did come and accepted his explanation letter.

Wednesday, the boys and I went to Billing with my mom so she could run and errand and then we took the boys to a water park up there. We were afraid it wasn't going to get warm, but it warmed up nicely and we all had a good time. It was nice that it had stuff for toddlers, a little bit bigger kids and then big kids/adults.
Landon going down one of the slides for the littler guys.
