Lovell's Days

This last week was Lovell's town celebration. There were lots of things going on and to do through out the week. This year, I was asked to join a bench dancing routine (where we used benches in a dance routine) for the Follies. We danced to Step in Time from Mary Poppins. It was fun to get to spend some time with these fun ladies for a few months. We started practicing the end of April and meet twice a week, up until the last couple of weeks where we met almost every night. We performed on Wednesday and Thursday night. We went as a family Wednesday night and then Thursday night, Christian was out of town for work, so the boys went out the grandma Asay's house with the rest of their cousins while I was at the Follies again.

We danced in a black light which was great because no one could tell who we were, so if we messed up, they couldn't pick up out!

Thursday night while Christian was out of town, the boys and I had planned to sleep outside in the tent. It decided to get windy late in the afternoon, so we decided to not put the tent up before we went to the Follies. By the time we got back from them, it was dark and I wasn't wanting to put a tent up in the dark by myself. So, we decided to have a camp out in the living room instead and we'll camp outside another time.

Friday morning, we got up and did some things around the house before we headed over to Powell to hang out with my mom and my sister and Jabin who had flown in the night before. They played outside on 4-wheelers/razr, played bad mitten. We helped my mom hang a bunch of pictures and things up in her house also. We headed back to Lovell in time to pick Christian up and head over to family fun night at the park.
Jabin took Travis and Carson on a bike ride around Powell. Travis has been asking for a while to go on a long bike ride with everyone, so he was super excited to go.
Family fun night was busy and the kids had lots of fun. We ate dinner first, and then went around and did all the games. Some of the booths started running out of  prizes before we were out of tickets, so we didn't end up getting to do all the booths.

They had a bunch of props to use in a photo booth that was super cute!

Saturday morning, we got up and got ready to head to the parade. Christian had to work in Worland that morning, so we met us there shortly after the parade started.
Stetson, Kandace, Carson, Chloe, Travis and Landon all lined up on the street waiting for the parade to start.
Yay for candy!

Our parade group: Kase, Paige, Britt, Daniel, Kandace, Stetson, Grandma Asay, Matthew & Ian, Charlene and Chloe, Ranee, Grandma Dorothy, Travis, Me, Christian, Carson and Landon.

On that Monday, we went over to Powell to do a little crafting. My mom wanted to make pallet flags, so we each made one. The boys painted a nice sign too. I'm still not done with mine, but I'll get it done before the 4th!
