Pup Wrestling 2015

Last night was the pup wrestling tournament. After two weeks of learning and practicing, the boys got to show off what they had learned. Carson and Travis were both really looking forward to getting to wrestle. Sadly, Travis got sick Thursday night and wasn't able to wrestle! He was heart broken and in tears when he realized that he wasn't going to be able to wrestle. He felt a little better when he heard that two of his good friends were sick also and weren't going to be wrestling either.

 

Carson did really well and only lost one match. He wrestled 7 times and was super tired by the time the night was over. He started the night having to wrestle a girl, which was his fear going that night because she was one of just a few kids around his height and weight. I was super nervous for him having to do it and just wanted him to win and be done with her (I know that sounds bad, but it was the truth).

Poor Travis. This is how he spent the day he was sick and had to miss wrestling. We took him to the Dr. today and found out that he has strep. He is on antibiotics now and seems to be starting to feel better.
