Zip line (day 2)

On Saturday, we had a full day. We woke up, ate breakfast and then walked down to the harbor where all the yachts were kept. There were some crazy big boats down there! We walked around the shops and then came back to the resort.

This was a tunnel of trees we had to walk through to get to the harbor.

After exploring the harbor, we went back to the resort and decided to hang out in the pool for a bit.

We had a slight collision with a little boy that was behind us that we totally didn't see!

Around 1, we changed and got ready to head zip lining. We had a short bus ride to the middle of jungle where we got harnessed up and hiked up into the trees where we zip lined from 6 different platforms up in the trees. We saw monkeys, bats, huge black ants with gold butts, and leaf cutter ants in a long line carrying pieces of green leaves on their backs.

If you look up towards the top of the tree you can see one of the platforms that we zip lined from.

 That night after sweating under the jungle canopy, we suited up again and went down to the beach at our resort.  We were all sweating like crazy with the hard hats and gloves on!

We tried to take some pictures as the sun was going down, but we learned we weren't very graceful!


That night, we ordered pizza hut pizza and ate and hung out playing cards until late with my grandparents, aunt and uncle and cousins.

This was the most delicious (and affordable) coconut ice cream! We ordered it like every night and ate it while we played cards!
