On Monday of our trip, we took a cab back into Jaco to play at the beach. At first, we decided we weren't going to rent boogie boards because we were scheduled for surfing lessons the next day. After playing in the water for a bit and seeing how big the waves were, we decided to walk a couple of blocks to rent a couple of boards. My dad, my sister and I walked to find some but discovered you had to have a credit card or pass port to get them. So, we walked back down to the beach got a credit card, waked back and rented 2 boogie boards and then walked back to the beach. The waves were a lot bigger than ones we have done in the past, making for some good riding (if you timed it just right) and some good rolling in the waves (if you didn't time it right!)

| Don't ask! |
After a few hours of being in the sun and being rolled around by some monster waves, we decided to walk to Subway for some lunch. Next to the Subway was a fruit stand, so after lunch, Christian went over and had a fresh smoothie made with mango, banana and kiwi. It was delicious!
Man, there really were some crazy waves!!!
