On Thrusday, we were able to make our way over to Bear Lake for a Monk family reunion. Christian's aunt planned a reunion at her lake house for all the family members to stay at. Christian did some work in Riverton that morning, so the boys and I picked him up there and continued on our way. We got to the lake house around six that night. The boys were happy to get to play some bad mitton outside with Maddie (Christian's cousin) and Lauren (Christian's cousins wife). We had some yummy dinner and waited for the rest of the families to show up. We made a quick run into town to grab some milk shakes and they were DELICIOUS! We stayed up late that night playing cards and laughing!

The next morning, we got up and had a french toast breakfast made by grandpa Monk and Donna. As soon as breakfast was over, the kids were begging to head out to the lake. We pretty much spent the entire day out on the dock soaking up some sunshine, visiting, riding the wave runners and playing. The water was quite chilly but so nice and really blue!
Three years ago when we were there visiting, the water lever was super high so all we had to do was walk a few feet off the deck and we were in the water. This year, the water was lower, so we were able to ride the 4 wheelers out to the dock unless you liked the feel of mud stuck between your toes and then you walked out. Once out there, we set up chairs and towels and played.

| We took a break for a while to have some sandwiches for lunch at the house and played a game of cards while Landon napped. |
When Landon had woken up, we headed back out to the dock for some more playing. By this time, the shallow water had warmed up considerably and the boys played and played in the sand. They found all sorts of creatures and shells to fill their buckets with!

That evening, the guys and kids all went for a 4 wheeler ride up the mountain. They saw a moose and some deer on their ride. They made it some just as dinner was done! After dinner, we had some dessert and then played a wicked game of spoons...like people flying over the table to get spoons game! It was so fun!

Saturday morning, we woke up, had some breakfast burritos and then cleaned the lake house. When the house was clean, we took some family pictures and then everyone went their separate ways for the day and would meet up at Richard and Diane's house later that night.

We decided to go over the mountain into Logan and spend the day with my sister, Megan. We almost made through the canyon before Carson decided to puke all over himself which left Christian and Travis dry heaving and me to clean everything up by myself! Luckily, we weren't too far from my sisters where we were able to wash his clothes and he could shower! After Carson was able to get cleaned up, we went and ate lunch at a Brazilian restaurant. The boys really thought the swords full of meat were cool! We stopped by a park for the boys to play for a bit and then headed back to Megan's so the boys could take a nap. Christian offered to stay with the boys so that Megan and I could go shopping for a while, so we took him up on the offer and had a little sister shopping time! We came back and visited for a while and then drove to Sandy, UT where we stayed the night at Christian's aunt's house.

We had dinner and talked with family before calling it a night! Sunday morning, we went to listen to Madison (Christian's cousin) who just returned home from a mission talk in Sacrament meeting. After the meeting we quickly got all packed up, enjoyed some lunch and headed home. We had such a great time with family and hope it isn't long before we get to do another one!
Looks awesome! Glad you guys got to go!:)
