Middle School wrestling

Travis was able to finish up his middle school werstling season this weekend. He wrestled the 138 weight bracket the whole season. They attended their conference tournament in Thermopolis and he came away with 4th place. He started out wrestling a great match against a kid from Lander. He ended up losing by 2 points, but if he had had 10 more seconds, he would have beaten the kid. Next he wrestled a kid from Worland, who he was able to pin the first period, putting him the match to wrestle for 3rd and 4th. He ended up having to wrestle the kid he werstled first and got pinned pretty quick in the first period (I'm not really sure what happened because it was such a great match the first time...oh well.)
Travis improved tons this season. He looked a lot more confident on the mat and was fun to watch! He's decided not to play basketball this year (even though we keep trying to convince him to do it), so he will have a bit of a break until track, but will get to watch and support Carson in his wrestling season that starts next weekend!
