Thanksgiving
Once again, we had a great Thanksgiving. It always seems to go so fast, but we had as much fun as we could with the few days off we had!
On Wednesday, I made the boys do chores because I knew we were not going to be home a lot the rest of the days. After they were done cleaning, Travis and Carson went to try and find Carson a doe to shoot since he didn't have much time to get a buck in the season. They werent' able to get one, but had fun toghether.
Thursday, the guys got up and had their annual Pheasant hunt with Jason, Jacob, Daniel and Britt. They ended up getting skunked, but always have a blast together! I met the boys out at Grandma Asay's house after they hunted and we hung out there visiting for a bit before we headed home so they could all shower and then went over to Powell to have dinner with grandma and grandpa Foulger and Jason, Cassie and Remi. It was a delicious meal, as always, followed by some wrestling and a couple rounds of telestrations.
Friday, the boys all went out and helped grandpa Asay preg test the cows. I decided to head over to Powell and help grandma Foulger put up her trees. We set up 3 trees!
Saturday, the guys all got ready and headed out to try and get Carson a doe again. They were able to spot one pretty early on and nab it. Carson was just happy to finally get something and be able to make some jerkey since they had already eaten all of the jerkey from Travis's antelope.
They also tried their hand at some more pheasant hunting and were able to get a couple between us and Daniel and Britt.
Sunday, we went to church and then the boys decorated their tree downstairs and I decorated the tree upstairs. I love having the trees up and sitting in the dark with their lights glowing!
