State baseball

On Wednesday, the teams (both the majors and minors team made it to state...first time in league history that both of them made it!) met up to all ride together down to Gillette for State. We were able to use the Club Dauntless vans so the boys could all ride together. Christian and I were leavin the next morning super early for a trip, so we weren't able to go down and watch them play their first game. Luckily, I have great friends and family that sent me videos and Gamechanger had a live feed of the game! It was so fun to be able to watch Landon when I couldn't be there in person, which was hard on my momma heart. The minors team played Torrington first. They lost 2-5. Landon had a great game. He pitched and had one the teams 4 hits in the game. Grandma Asay, Carson and Travis made the trip down Thursday when they played Bridger Valley (who we played for the championship at Districts). We were able to watch about and inning of this game before our plane took off and we lost service. The boys ended up loosing 11-8. Landon lead their team with 3 hits. Loosing that game put them out of the tournament and taking 4th place. It was such a great experience for Landon and we are so proud of him and his team for having such a great year!!
The minors bus
Grandpa and Grandma Foulger came over before Landon left for state and gave him a good luck at state package!
Both the Majors and the Minors team took 4th place at State!
The team ended up staying another night and coming home the next day. All three of my boys had a blast at the pool in the hotel. It had some cool waterslides. The tried to build a human train as lond as they could and all go down the slide together. The video was hilarious!
I was told that Travis slept all the way to Gillete and all the way home...Of course Carson had to document it and send it to me!
On a side note, this year was the first year in our leagues histories that all of our local baseball teams qualified for state in their respective classes. They decided to get all the teams together and get a picture to remember it. It was a great year for baseball at all levels!!
