District All-Star Baseball

Landon was able to make the All-Star team again this year and we spent the last week watching him play at the District tournament in Cody. They ended up having an excellent week and made it to state baseball! Their first game was against Cody and we played pretty terrible! We lost to them which sent us to play Rock Springs who we beat 19-7. We played Powell next and won 15-8, sending us into the championship game and punching the Mustange's ticket to state baseball! We used up pretty much all of our pitchers in the previous game, so we knew this game was probably going to be pretty ugly. The boys ended up losing 7-17, but they were so excited to be able to keep playing next week in Gillette in the State Tournament!! They began the tournament introducing all the teams and then had a team feed for the teams.

It's always fun to form new friendships with other moms when my kids are on sports teams. Here is the great group of ladies (we were missing one of the moms) I was able to get to know better this summer. They are a fun bunch of ladies!

We did manage to sneak in an evening on the boat in between all our baseball games.
