Deer Hunting

Travis was finally able to get is deer last night! He has spent all week trying to get one! He got to skip school and practice Monday (he shot at one and missed) and then every night as soon as he was done with wrestling practice, they would head out for about and hour, but were never able to get one. As soon as he was done wrestling in Riverton Saturday (which he ended up taking 2nd!) we raced home and they hurried out to try again. I had gotten a text from my mom asking if they were able to go out and I had replied that they were out right now and I hadn't heard anything, so they probably hadn't gotten anything (and it was starting to get dark). A minute later, I got a call from Christian saying that they had gotten one! Landon and I hurried out and got there just as they were finishing gutting it. He was super excited and Christian was so relieved that they were finally able to get one and wouldn't have to worry about trying to get a buck next week (buck season closes on Wednesday). Looks like we will have a bunch more jerkey in our future!
